J&K: Pak army resorts to mortar shelling, firing along LoC

June 14, 2017:       In Jammu and Kashmir Pakistan army today again resorted to mortar shelling and firing along Line of Control (LoC) in Bhimber Gali and Naushera sectors of Rajouri district targeting forward defence locations and civilian population, prompting an effective retaliation from the troops.
Defence sources said Pakistani troops started unprovoked shelling in Bhimber Gali around 5 am. Intermittent exchanges continued uptill 6am.

While in Naushera sector firing was initiated by the forces across the LoC around 9:30 this morning. Intermittently exchange was continuing when last reports came in. There is no report of any casualties or damage on the Indian side.      (AIR NEWS)
