Tripura Government has decided to conduct recruitment drive for 1500 posts of Lower Division Clerks (LDC). The decision came up after recent announcement of recruitment of a total 4000 teachers.
The announcement on two major recruitment drives within a span of only few days has ignited a hope among the job aspirants as many of them are going to be treated as government employee from the new year.
The advertisement for the recruitment of 1500 LDCs (Group C) was issued on Sunday inviting online applications from the interested candidates. Minimum educational qualification requires applicants to be Madhyamik passed. Other eligibility criteria have also been mentioned in the advertisment.
According to the advertisement, the candidates among the retrenched 10,323 teachers can apply regardless of their age as per the state government memorandum vide No.F.20(03)-GA(P&T)/2020 dated 5th November, 2020.
The applications have to be submitted at https://employment.tripura.gov.in with effect from December 19, 2020 to January 30, 2021. The state government’s policy on reservation would be following in the recruitment drive.
The advertisement reads, age limit for the direct recruitment is 18 to 41 years as on 31st December 2020—the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC/PwDs/government servant candidates. Due to COVID19 pandemic, an additional age relaxation of 1 year will be given to all categories of candidates as decided by the state government earlier.
In recent past the State Government announced recruitment for teaching jobs.
