The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE)-conducted Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examinations – which could not be held due to Covid19 and subsequent national lockdown – would be held starting from June 5, 2020. Tripura Education minister Ratanlal Nath announced this in a news conference at Civil Secretariat on Thursday.
Nath said all examinations of Madhyamik (new course) had already been completed but the examinations on some papers of old syllabus could not be conducted.
Besides, the examinations on some papers of Higher Secondary, Madrasa Fazil and Madrasa Alim also remained unfinished.
As per the reschedule, the timings for all examinations would remain same (12 pm to 3.15 pm).
The examinations of Higher Secondary on Statistics and Sanskrit subjects would be held on June 5, Economics on June 6, Psychology on June 8, Arabic and Music on June 9, Geography on June 10, Home Management, Home Nursing and Nutrition on June 11.
For Madrasa Fazil (Arts group), the examinations on Economics and Arabic (Group-C) subjects would be held on June 6 and 9 respectively.
For Madhyamik (old syllabus, old pattern), the examinations on Physical Science and Life Science subjects would be held on June 5 and 6 respectively. For Madrasa Alim (new syllabus, new pattern), the examinations on Arabic, Tafsir and Hadis would be held on June 6,8 and 9 respectively and for the old syllabus, old pattern- the examinations on Physical Science, Life Science, Tafsir and Hadis would be conducted on June 5,6,8 and 9 respectively.
Nath said, 8749 among the total 27,142 Higher Secondary candidates would appear in the rescheduled examinations. Meanwhile, Kulai HS School, an examination centre, falls in Red Zone. As a result, 35 candidates of this school will seat in the examination at Chandraipara HS School.
