Agartala, Jun 12, 2019: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah reconstituted the BJP Parliamentary Committee today. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will the deputy to the Prime Minister who is the leader of the Party in Lok Sabha. Thaawar Chand Gehlot replaces Arun Jaitley as the leader of the Party in Rajya Sabha. Minister Pralhad Joshi will be Government Chief Whip. Minister Piyush Goyal will be Deputy leader of the Party in Rajya Sabha.
BJP MP from Tripura, Pratima Bhowmik has been appointed as Whip of Lok Sabha in-charge Tripura, Assam, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh.
