The Sadbhavna Yatra team has met Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshari after completing the 21st days of countrywide Yatra on Friday.
After getting the information about the Sadbhavna team, the Governor immediately gave his consent to meet the Yatra team. In the meeting, the Governor of Maharashtra was informed about the vision and mission of the Sadbhavna Yatra. On behalf of Yatra team Pinku Das, secretary of the Golden Jubilee Statehood Day Celebration committee of Tripura informed the media.
The Governor of Maharastra was very much pleased by the initiatives of Yuva Vikash Kendra and gave some valuable advice to the whole team. During the discussion, Koshari enquired about the development of Tripura and he assured to remain present in the final program of Tripura golden jubilee Statehood Day.
Notably, a Sadbhavna Yatra started from Ujjayanta Palace Agartala on January 21 last to spread the message of Art and Culture of Tripura, Peace Harmony, Promotion of tourism of Tripura, and especially to convey the message of the Golden Jubilee celebration of Tripura Statehood day which will be observed in the coming year.
The Yatra was flagged off by Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb in presence of Deputy Chief Minister, Forest and Tribal Welfare minister and other dignitaries. A total of 12 youth of the state started their journey under the leadership of youth Gandhian activist founder president Yuva Vikash Kendra and convener of Golden Jubilee Statehood Day Celebration committee of Tripura Debashish Majumdar.
During the last 21 days, the Yatra team met the Governor of Chhattisgarh, Youth Sports and Tourism Minister of Telangana, Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister of Goa etc.
