Khowai (Tripura), June 23: Residents of Tripura are celebrating a significant enhancement to their banking landscape today, as Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) officially unveiled two modern, new branches in the Khowai district.

This strategic expansion, led by the dynamic Chairman Satyendra Singh, aims to bring cutting-edge banking services closer to the doorsteps of rural communities.

The newly inaugurated branches, located at TGB Khowai Office Tilla and TGB Chebri, mark another stride in TGB’s rapid technological transformation.

The inauguration ceremony, brimming with optimism, saw the presence of several distinguished guests. Rajat Pant, IAS, District Magistrate & Collector of Khowai, served as the Chief Guest and officially opened the facilities. He was joined by Charu Verma, IAS (SDM Khowai), Uttam Adhikari (Vice Chairman, Khowai Panchayat Samiti), Satyendra Singh (Chairman, TGB), and Sujit Roy (Regional Manager – West, TGB).

Tripura Gramin Bank, already boasting the largest branch network in the state and an impressive business volume exceeding Rs 14,000 crore, is solidifying its position as a frontrunner among Regional Rural Banks across India.

The bank is now offering a comprehensive suite of digital services, placing it on par with nationalized commercial banks.

Customers at the new branches, and across TGB’s network, can now access an array of upgraded digital facilities designed for convenience and efficiency. These include:

* WhatsApp Banking**
* SMS Banking**
* Missed Call Banking**
* Mobile Banking (via a dedicated app)**
* Internet Banking**
* NEFT/RTGS/Core Banking**
* Debit Card Services**
* UPI & PFMS Integration**
* And many more advanced features, ensuring a seamless banking experience.
