ProMASS News Bureau: Aug 23, 2016: Various Central Ministries will today lead the Tiranga Yatra or the Freedom March in various parts of the country to enhance the spirit of nationalism, to generate enthusiasm and infuse among the youth and people in general. Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting Rajyavaradhan Singh Rathore will take up the Yatra at historic place of Meerut. Union Food Minister Ram Vilas Paswan will lead the March at Jamalpur in Bihar. Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi will take undertake the Yatra in Jalalpur. While Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani will lead it in Gowribidnur in Karnataka. Government has conceived the Yatra’ to imbibe a spirit of nationalism and spread awareness about the contribution of freedom fighters, marking 70th year of Independence.
