ProMASS Jan 17, 2017: Inaugurating the 2nd Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi this evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said Pakistan come out of terrorism if it wants dialogue with India as New Delhi alone cannot walk the path of peace. having said that the world is going through profound changes PM Modi stated non-state actors are major contributors to spread of challenges faced by the world.
He said India believes in de-linking terrorism from religion, and rejecting artificial distinctions between good and bad terrorism.
Focusing on India-China relations, PM Modi said, the rise of the two countries offers an unprecedented economic opportunity for them and for the whole world and added, it is also not unnatural for two large neighbouring powers to have some differences. However he mentioned both the countries need to show sensitivity and respect for each other’s prime concerns and interests for peace and progress in the region.
The Prime Minister also said, an integrated neighbourhood is his dream and India’s security engagement with Afghanistan has deepened.
