Mar 07, 2017: Operation against terrorist is underway as terrorists are hold up inside a house in the outskirts of Lucknow. Police source said, there is not one but two terrorists and Police is trying to arrest them as soon as possible. 
The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad launched an operation here to flush out a suspected terrorists believed to be influenced by ISIS and having possible links to the Bhopal-Ujjain train blast on Tuesday. Intermittent firing continues from both sides, chilli bombs and tear gas also being used by security forces.
ADG police law and order Daljeet Chaudhary has said that alleged terrorist has taken shelter in a house and police have surrounded the house.
He said adequate police force is deployed at the spot and exchange of fire is also taking place. He said police has appealed him to surrender but he has not responded so far. He said one alleged terrorist has been arrested from Kanpur and investigation is underway. A high alert has been sounded across the state.
