J&K: 2 LeT terrorists gunned down:
DNA reports, at leaset two Laskar-e-Taiba terrorists were killed on Monday in an encounter between security forces and militants in Sapore township of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. The security forces also recovered one AK-47 and a pistol. The intermitting firing and search operation is still on.
CRPF troops carry sick women on stretcher for 7 KM
Zee News reports, in a wonderful act of compassion, the CRPF personnel carried a woman suffering from high fever on a stretcher for seven Km, to a hospital in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada.
Ghazipur landfill collapse: NGT issues showcause notice
The Indian Express reports, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Monday issued showcause notices to to the Delhi Govt, East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) and National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) over the collapse at Ghazipur landfill which claimed two lives three days ago.
