August 21, 2018: Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore has congratulated Saurabh Chaudhary for winning the gold medal in the men’s 10 metre Air Pistol event at the Asian Games.
In a tweet, Mr Rathore said, at the age of 16 years, in his first Asian games, incredibly talented sports person Saurabh has won a gold medal. He said that the nation is proud of him.
The Minister also congratulated Abhishek Verma for winning the bronze medal in his debut at the Asian Games.
Mr Rathore said, Abhishek who is lawyer-cum-marksman has taken his shot at glory by gunning a bronze medal in the 10 metre Air Pistol event. (AIR News)
UPDATE: BJP National secretary and Tripura in-charge Sunil Deodhar also tweeted and congratulated both the sportsmen. He tweeted, “The shining young guns of India. Congratulations to #SaurabhChaudhary and #AbhishekVerma for Winning Gold and bronze medal respectively in 10 m Air pistol event.”
