Prime Minister Narendra Modi says Foreign investment coming into country will be used for infra development and jobs in the NE region; Stating that 2nd green revolution should start from East, says Govt committed to double farmers’ income.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a BJP youth rally on Tuesday afternoon in Khanapara Maidan, Guwahati. PM said that foreign investment coming into the country will be used for infra development and jobs in the NE region. Stating that 2nd green revolution should start from East, the PM said that Government is committed to double farmers’ income by 2022, when the country would be celebrating 75 years of independence.
PM also said that for the country to progress, balanced development of all regions should be done.He pitched for development of Assam as the region is abundant in natural resources. PM himself talked about his passion and dedication to serve the people of the country and called upon the party workers to fan out to villages and towns of Assam to carry forward the message of progress of Assam. He thus reiterated BJP’s commitment to the development of Assam.
