Sonowal comments on Assam Poll alliance

Assam state BJP President and Union minister Sarbanand Sonowal today said that talks on alliance with the Asom Gana Parishad, AGP is going in the right direction. Talking to newsmen in Guwahati today, Mr. Sonowal said that the party is ready to form alliance with all parties other than Congress and AIUDF.

The BJP and Bodoland People’s Front have already announced to fight the upcoming assembly polls together. In another development, senior Congress leader and former Governor of Bihar and Tripura Devanand Konwar has joined AIUDF on Jan 20.
