Agartala, Aug 23, 2019: At least 20 IPFT – ally of BJP in Tripura – supporters were injured in a road mishap while they were on way to attend a party programme at Khumulwng in West Tripura district today.
The accident occurred at Totabari area under Kalyanpur PS today afternoon. Conditions of 14 injured were stated to be serious and were shifted to GB Hospital. Sources claimed, three of them are in critical condition. Other injured persons are undergoing treatment at Kalyanpur Hospital.
It is learnt, Khumulwng bound Mahendra Mini Truck (TR -06A1649 started its journey from Gopalnagar of Khowai. The vehicle was overloaded and it lost control at Totabari area along Khowai-Teliamura main road.
