Agartala, Aug 24, 2019: Two IPFT supporters – ally of ruling BJP IN Tripura, who were critically wounded in yesterday’s road mishap, succumbed to injuries at GB Hospital in Agartala. Sources said, Tapan Debbarma died today while Sukharanjan Debbarma expired last night.
Both of them sustained grievous injuries after an IPFT supporters loaded vehicle met accident at Totabari along Khowai-Teliamura Road on Friday afternoon. IPFT supporters were coming to Khumulwng in West District to attend party’s Foundation Day rally.
In the accident at least 20 party activists were injured – two died so far. Party president NC Debbarma and general secretary Mebar Kumar Jamatia took the bodies to their native places and met the bereaved family members.
