Youtuber couple held a vibrant event where they mingled with fans, had tea, took selfies – above all, like a good Samaritan, donated money for marriage of a tea seller’s daughter.

Agartala, March 05, 2020: Benevolence, uninterrupted selfie clicks with eminent Youtuber couple and aroma of Tripura Tea filled the morning air at Heritage park in Agartala today – the ambiance became vibrant with colourful presence of large number of enthusiastic youth. All gathered to meet Youtuber Gaurav Taneja and his family in the city as well as to be part of goodwill gesture of Taneja couple – the uniqueness of the event lies in the beauty of being a good Samaritan, all appreciated the celebrated Youtuber’s generosity.
Today was, indeed, a beautiful morning for a large group of enthusiastic youths as well as a memorable day for a common tea vendor. And credit goes to the Taneja couple – Gaurav Taneja and Ritu Rathee Taneja.
The couple, who came to explore Tripura following an invitation from Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, organized a unique event for a noble cause apart from interacting and clicking photos with their followers in Agartala.
Good Samaritan
The unique and humanitarian part of the charitable event remains that the couple raised fund and donated it through Fixed Deposit for helping a tea seller for his daughter’s marriage.
A massive crowd assembled at Heritage Park since the morning. As the couple reached the venue, all the enthusiastic youths present there welcomed their favourite Vlogger amid cheers.
The couple through a short video clip in social media platforms had invited their fans and followers to be a part of the unique event followed by a cup of Tripura Tea. The unique concept of the couple invited wide appreciation from across various walks of life.
In the sideline of the event, the couple told the media that they had designed the plan of helping poor long time back.
“After visiting beautiful Tripura and receiving so much of love and supports from the people here, we decided to start this initiative from the soil of Tripura. And, we are thankful to the people for making the event successful to large extent,” said Gaurav Taneja, the most-talked YouTuber and fitness freak.
New dawn for a tea seller
In the event, Shankar Deb, a tea seller from Jogendranagar area, prepared tea for the fans of Taneja couple, and they were urged to donate money in return for a cup of tea. An amount of Rs. 13, 500 was collected during the event.
Before leaving the state, the Taneja couple who run two YouTube channels- Flying Beast and Fit Muscle TV, also made contributions and finally handed over a donation of Rs. 51,000 through FD for marriage of Priyanka Deb, daughter of the tea seller Sankar Deb.
Meanwhile, as part of their three-day Tripura trip, the couple visited all major tourist places like Neermaha, Matabari, Chabimura, Narkelkunja and Sepahijala. The couple were visibly overwhelmed with the natural beauty of Tripura.
Special Secretary to Tourism- Kiran Gitte, OSD to Chief Minister Sanjay Mishra, and Tea Board chairman Santosh Saha along with other dignitaries also attended the event.
The event silently, but surely promoted Tripura Tea among the youth who assembled there.
