An Edu-tech start-up of the State, aAHARAN scaled a new height and became one of the top 100 selected idea creators in the country in Phase 1 of the ‘5G Hackathon’ organized by the NITI Aayog in association with the Electronics and IT Ministry, Digital India, Startup India, the MSME Ministry, IITs, and other stakeholders.
aAHARAN also received an award of Rs 1,00,000 to materialize the idea into a demonstrable product or solution for Phase 2 level competition. The Hackathon will be held in three phases and will provide a unique opportunity to winners to implement their 5G applications to make them market-ready with the support of the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India.
After being short-listed in Phase 1, aAHARAN will get mentorship and support from the Hackathon partners, development of solutions or products. In the second phase, 30 best solutions/products out of 100 short-listed ideas on the 5G trial network followed by felicitation of the 3 best ideas during India Mobile Congress (IMC). Top three winners will get Rs 10 lakh each as award.
aAHARAN is the only Edu-tech start-up of Tripura which has created a learning app in Bengali and Kokbarok for class X students of Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE). It is also in the process of developing learning modules for other classes of TBSE and CBSE.
aAHARAN is also recognized by DPIIT, Government of India. The learning app has already got critical appreciations of experts and both the urban and rural area students are availing the benefits of the app in the State.
