The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) conducted Higher Secondary (+2) exams have been deferred owing changes in All India JEE Main Examination.
The Higher Secondary (+2) exams and Madrasa Fazil exams were scheduled to start from April 25 but now it is deferred and both will begin from May 2, said TBSE president Dr Bhabatosh Saha in Agartala on Wednesday.
He, however, informed the media that the Madhymik Exams would be held as scheduled. The Madhymik Exams is set to be started from April 18 as scheduled.
Dr Saha said the Higher Secondary (+2) exams conducted by the TBSE has been deferred in the wake change in schedule for the JEE Main Examination. As per the new schedule, JEE Main Examination will be held on April 24 – 29 next.
For the benefits of the students, the TBSE has decided to postpone the Higher Secondary (+2) exams, Dr Saha said and added Madhyamik exam will start as seheduled.
According the new schedule, the HS (+2) Exams will start with exam on English on May 2. Exams for Bengali, Hindi, Kokbarok and Mizo will be held on May 5.
