ProMASS News Bureau: Sep 07, 2016: United States has elevated its ties with India across the board, and it welcomes India’s growing role in the Asia Pacific, US Prez Barack Obama said. In a speech on Asia-Pacific region in Laos yesterday, the US has said it will continue to work with other countries in the region for addressing political and security challenges. Obama said, to keep the peace and deter aggression, the US has deployed more of its most advanced military capabilities to the region, including ships and aircraft to Singapore. He said, US also forged deeper ties with emerging economies and emerging powers. He said, US is opposing violent extremism, and addressing environmental degradation.
President Obama added that, United States welcomes the rise of a China, that is peaceful and stable and prosperous and a responsible player in global affairs. He added ,the US is more deeply engaged across the Asia Pacific than it has been in decades.
