Meet Deepika Ghosh who has defied the odds to achieve excellence in this year’s Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) Secondary Examination. Hailing from a humble background, Deepika, a student at Dwarikapur High School, secured an outstanding result, scoring a remarkable 456 marks with letter marks in every subject. Her achievement not only marked her as a probable topper in the Kalyanpur RD Block area but also fills the hearts of her community with immense pride and joy.
Deepika’s journey to success has been arduous, riddled with the harsh realities of poverty that have plagued her since childhood. However, her indomitable spirit propelled her to attain excellence braving the adversities. Despite the financial constraints her family faces, Deepika’s parents are overjoyed by her accomplishment, hopeful that with the support of their community, she will continue to excel in her education.
Acknowledging the pivotal role played by her parents and teachers, Rajesh Sarkar and Bishwajit Debnath, in her success, Deepika humbly expresses her gratitude. Despite her shyness, she revealed her dreams. She wants to pursue higher education in the science stream at Chebri Higher Secondary School.
As Deepika stands at the cusp of a bright future, her father’s financial struggles cast a shadow of uncertainty. Yet, with unwavering resolve, Deepika remains undeterred, expressing her desire to become a true humanitarian and contribute to society.
