Techno India Group has reached another remarkable milestone, earning recognition on an international stage. Its founder and chairman, Satyam Roychowdhury, who also serves as the Chancellor of Techno India University Tripura and Sister Nivedita University, has been awarded the prestigious title of Honorary Academician by the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, Italy. This accolade makes him the first Indian to receive this honor, celebrating his significant contributions to education over the past 40 years.
The award ceremony was graced by H.E. Ricardo Dalla Costa, Consul General of Italy in Kolkata, as the chief guest, alongside distinguished attendees, including prominent representatives from the Albertina Academy.
In his acceptance speech, Satyam Roychowdhury expressed humility and gratitude, stating, “This honor is not a personal milestone; it is a testament to the transformative power of education. I dedicate this recognition to everyone in our institution.”
The recognition has been met with widespread acclaim. Dr. Dhruvajyoti Chattopadhyay, Vice-Chancellor of Sister Nivedita University (SNU), and Dr. Ratan Kumar Saha, Vice-Chancellor of Techno India University Tripura (TIUT), extended their heartfelt congratulations.

Established in 1984, the Techno India Group has flourished under the visionary leadership of Satyam Roychowdhury. Over four decades, the institution has expanded to include 103 knowledge campuses, 6 universities, 20 engineering colleges, over 35 public schools, 10 B-schools, 16 TIG-ITI centers, and 1 medical college.
