Agartala, April 21, 2025: The Shishu Bihar Alumni Association convened its Annual General Meeting (AGM) with great enthusiasm at the school premises, drawing participation from a diverse cross-section of alumni spanning multiple batches.
The well-attended event reaffirmed the strong and enduring bond that former students of the Shishu Bihar continue to share with their alma mater.
The AGM served as a vibrant platform for reviewing the Association’s milestones over the past year, as well as brainstorming future initiatives aimed at further strengthening the alumni network.

Key agenda items included launching new outreach programs, setting up mentorship opportunities for current students, and fostering deeper engagement between alumni and the institution.
A major highlight of the meeting was the formal announcement of the new Executive Committee that will steer the Association for the 2025–2026 session. The newly elected members are:
– President: Amit Rakshit
– Vice Presidents: Mautusi Chaudhuri, Dipayan Roy, and Nabajyoti Roy
– General Secretary: Anindita Ray
– Joint Secretary: Arnab Biswas
– Assistant Secretary: Dr. Tamughna Das
– Treasurer: Prasenjit Das
– Co-Treasurer: Aaman Roy
– Communication Secretaries: Joysankar Bhattacharjee and Debanjan Das
– Cultural Secretary: Antarlina Das
Executive Members include Arijit Das, Parijat Roy, Debaleena Pal, Asesh Das, and Sayantika Dey.
The new committee extended heartfelt thanks to the outgoing team for their dedication and contributions.

The Committee members expressed a collective commitment to advancing the Association’s mission of nurturing the school’s legacy and fostering meaningful alumni-school collaborations.
The committee also plans to work closely with the school administration to support academic and cultural development initiatives.
