69th Indian Army Day celebrated today

ProMASS: Jan 15, 2017:Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted to all soldiers, veterans and their families on Army Day. In a tweet message, Mr Modi said, people of the country salute the courage and invaluable service of the Indian Army.
PM Modi Tweets: We remember with great pride all the sacrifices made by our Army. They put their lives at risk so that 125 crore Indians live peacefully. … Indian Army always leads from the front, be it in protecting the sovereignty of our nation or helping citizens during natural disasters.

In his tweet Kiren Rijiju commented, On “Army Day” I salute all those brave martyrs who gave their lives for our motherland. My greetings to entire Arm Force and their families.
