Feb 09, 2017: The uncertainty relating what will happen to Tamil Nadu still persists even as Sashikala today staked claim to form Government in Tamil Nadu. She met the Governor Vidyasagar Rao today. Reportedly, Sashikala stacked claim to form the Government with support of more than 130 MLAs. Governor’s reaction is still unknown.

Meanwhile, the caretaker CM, O Panneerselvam also met the Governor today, however what they discussed about in the meeting is still unknown. In fact, everything is shrouded in mystery and everything relating to who will form the Government is unknown. Speculation, opinion polls etc are going on in full scale. Amidst internal chaos in AIADMK, possibility of imposing President’s rule in Tamil Nadu cannot be ruled out, Media Reports suggest. News agencies reported, several online surveys conducted by various organizations suggested most of the responded favoured a fresh election.

The most significant set back for Sashikala was that AIADMK presidium chairman and top leader E Madhusudanan had come out in support of care taker CM Panneerselvam. This has triggered a rivalry between Sashikala and Panneerselvam camps. Like E Madhusudanan, many more MLAs may follow the suit which will only deepen the crisis further.
