May 9, 2017: Commemorating completion of three years of BJP led NDA Government at the Centre, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from Guwahati on 26th of May.

According to AIR News, Assam state BJP unit President Ranjeet Kumar Dass said, the first anniversary of the BJP-led Assam government will also be celebrated at the same function.
He said, the decision of the Prime Minister to address the nation from Guwahati reflects the commitment of the Centre towards the North East.
