Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) units across the State are gearing up to help people in the battle against resurgent Covid19. Along with the country, Tripura is also witnessing surge in fresh Covid cases. The youth brigade of BJP, BJYM is taking several programmes including generating awareness, mask distribution etc across the State to break the Covid transmission chain.
Recently, BJYM State President Nabadal Banik said, “The Covid pandemic is a national emergency. We need to act according to the situation. We are taking a step forward, for now, to set up covid care centre so that infected patients can be given the primary treatment at these facilities and reduce burden on Public Healthcare system” .
Meanwhile, BJYM Dhalai District Committee has announced that BJYM would undertake several programmes to provide the state government much relief in its fight against the spiking COVID situation in the state. BJYM Dhalai District President Subrata Majumdar made the announcement in a press meet held at Kamalpur Press Club on Wednesday.
“In the present situation of COVID pandemic I would like to thank the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister as well for extending COVID vaccination to common people. Here, we are to arrange a voluntary blood donation camp on 27th of April next in all the six constituting mandals in the district. Moreover, we have taken up the distribution of masks and sanitizers among common people which would continue”. Majumder said.
In a similar manner, Kalyanpur Mandal BJYM held a press conference at Kalyanpur on Wednesday and hailed the decision of the Government to bring all person above 18 years under the ambit of Corona Vaccination. Speaking to the media, local BJYM leader Shubhankar Sen said that BJYM would work to make the vaccination programme a grand success for the welfare of people.
