Teliamura (Tripura) June 21: The youth organization of the Tipra Motha Party (YTF) submitted a deputation to Tripura Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr Manik Saha through the block administration in Teliamura, demanding the expulsion of foreign nationals illegally residing in India, specifically in Tripura.
On Saturday, the YTF, under the Maharani Centre of the Autonomous District Council, submitted this deputation to Diptanu Debbarma, the BDO of Mungiakami Block. Before the deputation, the organization held a street corner meeting in Mungiakami market. After the meeting, the deputation was handed over to the block administration.
Among those present at the street corner meeting and deputation were ADC EM Kamal Kalai and Mahendra Debbarma, YTF Block President of 11 Maharani ADC, along with others.
After the deputation, EM Kamal Kalai stated that a notification from the Union Home Ministry a month ago instructed states to take necessary steps to expel illegal foreign nationals residing in various parts of the country. He noted that while other states have taken action, Tripura has not shown similar progress.

Therefore, he explained, this deputation was submitted to the Mungiakami Block administration, addressed to Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha, demanding swift action to expel these foreigners.
