Class X CBSE Results: A Leap Forward
This year, Tripura’s Class X students achieved an impressive pass percentage of 86%, a staggering 26% increase from the previous year’s 60%. This leap underscores the effectiveness of ongoing educational reforms in the state.

The state also saw 66 schools secure pass percentages above 90%, compared to just 5 in 2024, while 81 schools surpassed an 81% pass rate. Only 5 schools reported pass percentages below 57%, with 13.5% of students falling into the supplementary category.

District-wise data revealed South Tripura leading with a 92% pass rate, followed by Khowai (89%), Unakoti (88%), Sepahijala (88%), North Tripura (87%), Gomati (86%), Dhalai (84%), and West Tripura (82%).
These figures reflect consistent performance across diverse regions, with South Tripura setting the pace.

Five Vidyajyoti schools—three Bengali medium and two English medium—achieved a 100% pass rate, a feat not accomplished by any Vidyajyoti school in 2024.
Additionally, 25 schools recorded pass percentages above 90%, up from just 2 the previous year, while 69 schools surpassed a 71% pass rate.
Tapeshwar Pal from Shishu Bihar School topped the Class XII examinations in Tripura, securing 491 out of 500 marks (98.2%).

While most districts showed strong progress, Gomati and Sepahijala’s lower pass rates indicate areas for focused improvement.
Vidyajyoti Schools Shine
The Vidyajyoti scheme, a flagship initiative to enhance educational quality in Tripura, has proven to be a game-changer. The scheme’s emphasis on infrastructure upgrades, teacher training, and curriculum enhancement has yielded tangible results.
The 100% pass rate in 15 Vidyajyoti schools for Class X and 5 for Class XII underscores the program’s success in fostering academic excellence. The inclusion of both Bengali and English medium schools in these achievements reflects the scheme’s inclusivity and adaptability.
