People’s confidence in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership is remarkably increasing.
This high level trust is reflected in Tripura also as voters are leaving other political parties to join the BJP in the State, said Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr Manik Saha in Rajnagar under South District on Tuesday.
Dr Saha was addressing Karyakartas of 34-Rajnagar Mandal under Belonia Sub-division during an organizational and joining programme held at Vivekananda Craft & Cultural Centre.
Dr. Saha extended a warm welcome to approximately 700 opposition voters from 203 families who officially joined the BJP during the event.
Referring to the growing people’s growing trust on BJP, the Chief Minister said, “We always follow the principle of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ and ‘Sabka Prayaas’.”
Regarding the sanctity of the Assembly, Dr. Saha said, “We take every election seriously. If attending a door-to-door program benefits our party, then where is the problem? Only the BJP can put an end to unruly behavior, as witnessed during the CPIM and Congress rule in the past.”
Dr. Saha pointed out that wherever the CPIM had governed, people had experienced suffering and witnessed unruly behavior. He emphasized that Tripura has now moved beyond such situations under the current government’s dedication to development and transparency.
“I pursued my studies in Lucknow but never saw common people suffer during elections. However, we witnessed it in Tripura and West Bengal during the CPIM’s tenure. Now, this government is dedicated to development, and peace prevails everywhere. Our government operates with transparency. Running a corrupt government is impossible as long as Modi is PM,” Dr. Saha asserted.
Highlighting the importance of booth-level Karyakartas, Dr. Saha underscored the pivotal role of Pristhapramukhs’ responsibilities in ensuring the BJP’s continued success.
In another BJP program at Hrishyamukh Mandal, 496 voters from 157 families joined the party, leaving opposition parties. The event saw the presence of notable figures, including former MLA Sankar Roy and MLA of Rajnagar Swapna Majumder.
