Ayush Minister Assesses Panchakarma, Yoga Services at Kailashahar AYUSH Hospital in Tripura

The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH, Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav, visited the integrated AYUSH hospital in Kailashahar under the Unakoti District of Tripura on Thursday. He was briefed about the infrastructure and services available at the hospital, particularly focusing on Panchakarma therapy, yoga, and other related services.

Later, the Union Minister presided over a review meeting at Unakoti Kalakshetra in Kailashahar, discussing the functioning of the health department and AYUSH healthcare systems.

He called upon everyone to fulfill their respective responsibilities in building a developed India, encompassing holistic growth in education and healthcare. Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav arrived in the state on Wednesday for a two-day visit.

While inspecting the integrated AYUSH hospital in Kailashahar, he discussed and exchanged views on various aspects of healthcare services with officials and healthcare workers. Present at the meeting were Dr. Anjan Das, Director of the Department of Family Welfare and Preventive Medicine, Dr. Souvik Debbarma, Joint Director of the Health Department, and Dr. Nupur Debbarma, Member-Secretary of the State Health Mission, among others.

The Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav, also visited the Machmara Primary Health Center in Unakoti district today. This primary health center has been certified with the "National Quality Assurance Standards" by the Government of India.

 The Union Minister toured various service units, including the inpatient and outpatient departments, to understand the services and infrastructure. He interacted with doctors, healthcare workers, patients, and their families.

Later, he planted an Arjuna tree sapling in the herbal garden there. Additionally, he handed a basket of fruits to a tuberculosis patient and provided zinc tablets and ORS packets to two children.

On the same day, the Union Minister visited the ADC Village Office, the local Anganwadi Center, and the Kinacharan Talukdar Para School in Machmara. He mentioned that his visit is part of the central ministers' outreach program, conducted every 15 days in the northeastern states. He stated that he would submit a report to the Prime Minister's Office at the end of his visit.
