Chaos after job aspirants miss train, Spl train arranged for stranded candidates

Chaos prevailed at Kumarghat rail station under Unakoti district on Sunday after many of the candidates, who appeared in a job examination, missed a train at Kumarghat on Sunday.

Finally, the local administration managed to arrange a special train for the convenience of the stranded candidates.

Meanwhile, thousands of candidates had appeared in the examination meant for recruitment to the post of LD clerk in the District Court, Unakoti. The examination was held at different examination centres in Kailashahar and Kumarghat.

After the examination was over, the candidates appearing in the examination from other places were looking to board the passenger train to Agartala from Kumarghat railway station and they bought tickets accordingly.

But due to heavy rush of passengers, many of the candidates could not board the train and they remained stranded in the railway station as the train left. As soon as they missed the train, they burst into anger on the platform with demand for a special train for their movement.

Finally, the SDM and SDPO Kumarghat held discussions with the railway authority and managed to arrange a special train for the stranded passengers.

Meanwhile, there is a possibility that the normal local train service may be altered to some extent following the arrangement of the special train on Monday.

Meanwhile, an unidentified dead body was recovered from the railway track at Sarashima in Belonia under South Tripura on Sunday. The body was found in heavily mutilated condition. Reportedly, it was a run over case by running train and Police are investigating the case.
