Clean and Green North Tripura: District Magistrate Inaugurates Month-Long Cleanliness Drive
Debapriya Bardhan, IAS, District Magistrate and Collector of the North Tripura District officially launched the program "Swachhata Hi Seva 2024" on Wednesday under the theme "Swabhava Swachta and Sanskar Swachta" in collaboration with 'My Uttar Tripura' and Udbhawani social organizations as directed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of India.
Also, Aparna Nath, Sabhadhipati of the North Tripura Zilla Parishad, launched the branding and publicity campaign of the program "Swachhata Hi Seva 2024".
In addition to this, all present took the oath of Swachhata. Kunal Gautam, District Youth Officer, North Tripura was present.
Basically, through the campaign to be held from September 17 to October 2, 2024, various programs such as cleaning drive, tree plantation, cycle rally, march, seminar, door to door campaign, social media campaign, single use plastic collection, drawing competition etc. will be organized by the Udbhawani social organizations in the various areas of the North Tripura and Unakoti districts.
Today's program was moderated by Saikat Das and Nilanjan Deb on behalf of Udbhawani Social Organization.
