Covid surge in Delhi, Tripura CM sounds alarm

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb sounded alarm on fresh wave of Covid and urged people to start taking precautionary Covid appropriate behavior and keep Covid at bay.

 

TRipura-CM-rings-alarm-CovidConcerned at the recent Covid surge in Delhi, Deb said while addressing a programme in Agartala on Sunday, “We already got Corona vaccines. Around 50 percent of the population below 18 years has also been covered. But, the Covid threat still exists. We have to stay alert.”

 

The Chief Minister said, there is no need to worry but people need to take precaution to stay safe from the disease. He advised the people to start maintaining social distance, hygiene and wearing masks.

 

“As we have almost defeated Corona and now, we have sufficient stock of safety gears and medical essentials, there is no need to worry but the people should stay alert,” Deb said.

 

He was addressing a programme at Lalbahadur Byamagar at his constituency- Banamalipur where he flagged-off an ambulance purchased from the MLA local area development fund for the club.

 

The Chief Minister announced that apart from 1000 police constables, recruitment for around 2500 special executive posts would also take place where 33 percent women reservation policy would be followed. In this context, he asked the women to stay aware about their rights.

 

Deb also advised every individual to regularly follow the Tweets and Facebook posts of the Prime Minister and Chief Minister for staying updated.
