Tripura Chief Minister, also the state president of BJP, Dr Manik Saha emphasized the role of booth level workers and hailed their efforts in strengthening the organisation.
"The hard works of the booth level workers have strengthened the base of party's organisation in the State. Based on the dedication of the booth level karyakartas, the party will carry forward party's activities", Dr Saha said while addressing BJP Sadar district Karyakarini (executive) meeting held in Agartala on Sunday.
Notably, the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of BJP was recently concluded in Hyderabad. Later, the State Executive Committee meeting of Tripura Pradesh BJP was held in Udaipur under Gomati district in Tripura.
Taking part in today's meeting, Dr. Manik Saha said in the future, Karyakarini meetings will be held simultaneously in all the constituencies of the state.
"These meetings are held every three months. However, due to the Covid pandemic, the meetings could not be held in past few years", he said.
The Karyakarini meetings will discuss organisational issues and future working methods. The proposal on the economic report has been passed. This will be discussed at the central and state levels, said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha.
BJP Sadar district office bearers and activists took part in today's executive meeting.
According to party sources, in view of upcoming Assembly polls, several crucial issues are likely to be discussed and accordingly decisions will be taken.
At the same time, the activities and performance of the seven MLAs of the Sadar city district were also discussed.
The meeting also focused on strengthening the organization. Among others were Kishore Barman, the party's state general secretary.
