Tripura Government has decided to go for another round of recruitment drive for several posts in various departments. The Government will recruit over 300 eligible candidates for different posts in the Finance, Forest, Cooperation, Social Welfare and Social Education and Health departments etc.
The decision was finalized during a cabinet meeting held on February 22, following which Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury made the official announcement at a press conference at the Secretariat in Agartala on Monday.
According to the Tourism Minister, the Finance Department has been granted approval to recruit 140 auditors (Group-C) through an examination process. To facilitate this recruitment, a dedicated selection board will be constituted under the department, ensuring a transparent and merit-based hiring process.
In addition to the Finance Department’s recruitment drive, the cabinet also sanctioned recruitment of 104 foresters (Group-C) under the Forest Department. This recruitment will also be conducted through an examination to ensure qualified candidates are selected for the post of forester.
The Cooperation Department will see a boost in manpower as well, with the cabinet greenlighting the recruitment of 30 personnel for various posts, including Auditor (Cooperation), Investigator (Cooperation), and Statistical Investigator.
Further expanding the employment opportunities, the cabinet approved the recruitment of 34 ICDS Supervisors (Group-C) under the Social Welfare and Social Education Department. The selection process for these positions will be conducted by the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC), ensuring adherence to standard recruitment procedures.
The cabinet also addressed vacancies in the Tourism Department, sanctioning the appointment of two Upper Division Clerks (UDC) on a promotional basis and three additional Group-D staff members.
Chowdhury also informed the media, the cabinet meeting approved the recruitment of two Biomedical Engineers (Group-A) under the Health Department. He added, this recruitment process will also be carried out through TPSC to ensure qualified professionals are selected.
