Kins of COVID-19 victims requested to apply for ex-gratia
The Government of Tripura, through Revenue Department, has requested eligible people to submit an online application for ex-gratia related to COVID-I9 deaths.
As per the order of the Supreme Court of India, family members of people who died of COVID- 19 are entitled to this ex-gratia.
Applications must be accompanied with documents like death certificate, cause of death, survival certificate, power of attorney to claim, claimant details and beneficiary account details for DBT etc. to the offices of the respective DM and Collector/ SDM.
After verification compensation amount will be transferred to the bank accounts of respective beneficiaries within 30 days of application.
In case of any difficulties in getting a death certificate, ex-gratia assistance etc. the applicant may contact the District Grievance and Redressal Committee.
