Tripura government has on Friday transferred seven IPS officers including six district superintendents of police (SPs). The transfer list also included 17 Tripura Police Services (TPS) officers.
As per the notification, Bogati Jagadeeswar Reddy, incumbent Addl. SP, West Tripura, has now been made SP West while incumbent SP West Manik Das has been transferred and posted as commandant of 1st-Bn TSR with additional charge of commandant, 11th-Bn.
While SP North Bhanupada Chakraborty has been transferred to Khowai, incumbent SP Khowai – Dr. Kiran Kumar K has been shifted to North Tripura.
SP Dhalai Kishore Debbarma has now been made SP Unakoti while SP Unakoti Rati Ranjan Debnath has been transferred to Sepahijala district.
Incumbent SP Sepahijala Krishnendu Chakravertty has been transferred as AIGP (Crime), PHQ while Ramesh Chandra Yadav, the incumbent SDPO Sadar with additional charge of Dy. SP (CAW), West Tripura, has now been made SP Dhalai.
Haripada Das, AIGP Welfare has been transferred as Commandant, SAF while Prabir Majumdar, CO, SAF with additional charge of AIGP (TSR), has been shifted as SP (Procurement).
Amarjit Debbarma, CO of 1st-Bn TSR with additional charge of commandant of 11th-Bn TSR has now been shifted as commandant of 12th-Bn TSR with additional charge of 10th-Bn TSR.
Subrata Chakraborty, AIGP (Law and Order) with additional charge of AIGP (Crime) has been transferred as AIG (TSR), PHQ while SP, MTF Abhijit Choudhuri has been transferred as Commandant, CTI.
Pinaki Samanta, incumbent SP, GRP with additional charge of SP (Procurement) has been transferred as Commandant, ACCR TSR Training Centre with additional charge of Commandant, 2nd-Bn TSR.
Biplab Deb, Commandant of ACCR TSR Training Centre has been transferred as SP, GRP. He will also hold the additional charge of SP (Comn.) on superannuation of incumbent on 31/12/2021.
Sunga Darlong, Commandant of 5th-Bn TSR has been transferred as AIGP (Training) with additional charge of AIGP (Police Housing and Construction)/ Welfare.
Two TPS officers- Timir Das (commandant of 2nd-Bn TSR) and Apan Jamatia, AIGP (Police Housing and Construction) have been sent on compulsory waiting for posting.
Rothlunga Darlong, commandant of 10th-Bn TSR with additional charge of CO 2nd-Bn, TSR, has been transferred as SP, Traffic while AIGP (Training) Ananta Das has been transferred as Commandant, 5th-Bn TSR. Rajib Nag, Dy. Commandant of 9th-Bn TSR has been made in-charge Commandant of 9th-Bn TSR.
SP Traffic Sharmistha Chakraborty has been transferred. She will now hold the charge of SP, Anti-Narcotics while SP, SCRB Sudeshna Bhattacharjee will hold the additional charge of SP, MTF.
