Miscreants attack Tripura Gramin Bank branch Manager
Miscreants launched an attack on the bank manager of Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) of Matai branch on Monday. In a press statement, Tripura Gramin Bank Officers Union leaders said this and condemned the attack. Union leaders said, the branch manager was attacked by miscreants when he was entering office.
Notably, TGB staff were attacked at Rajnagar and Dalugaon branches recently.
Condemning the attacks, TGB Officers’ Union demanded stern action against the miscreants. In view of the attacks, the Union leaders also demanded security of the bank staff.
“TGB is playing crucial roles in improving the socio-economic conditions of the State. TGB staff are working for the development of the State tirelessly – however, attacks on the staff would demoralize them.
This will hit the ongoing developmental initiatives. Time is ripe that people become vocal against such attacks and concerned authorities do the needful”, Union leaders commented.
