Modi hai to mumkin hai: BJP aiming to win in 60 Assembly seats out of 60, says Tripura CM

Tripura-CM-Assembly-Polls-newsModi hai to mumkin hai - The BJP started its journey in Tripura with a victory in 36 seats and now the party is aiming to win 60 out of 60 seats in 2023 Assembly polls in Tripura with the unwavering public support, said Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb at a party rally at Motai under Belonia in South Tripura on Saturday.

 

“Our goal is to win 60 out of 60 in the next election and the process has already started. People in the state are happy with the multidimensional developmental activities of the government,” he commented.

 

Deb also pointed out that people are coming out of the negative mentality and availing benefits of cluster plan of the Government for the welfare of all sections of people.

 

While speaking, the Chief Minister took a dig at the Opposition and said they used to say that I lied relating to increasing social allowances. However, as promised, I hiked the amount of social pension to Rs 2000 per beneficiary and the money would be deposited in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries before the Durga Puja. He also pointed out that the Government had increased tenure of job of TSR jawans by three years while the jawans demanded for only one year extension.

 

Without naming anyone, he took a jibe and said those who day-dreamed to have a face-off with me after announcement of election results of five states are no longer traceable – out of the glare.

 

As part of his visit to South Tripura, Deb flagged-off five new modern ambulances and inaugurated the new building of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Belonia. He also unveiled a statue of Swami Vivekananda.

 

While addressing the inaugural programme, Deb said the students should have a clear idea of the direction that the country and the state are heading towards.

 

The new school building has been built on 25 acres of land at the cost of Rs. 41,75,96,000. There are 240 students in the school.

 

MLA Arun Chandra Bhowmik, Sabhadhipati of South Tripura Zila Parishad Kakali Das Datta, SP South Dr. Kulwant Singh, Headmaster (in-charge) of the school- Tarumoy Nath and others were present. The welcome speech was delivered by District Magistrate, South- Saju Waheed A.

 

His visit also included an interaction with the students of all colleges of South Tripura.
