He said, “The 11 key interventions aligned with the respective ministries included. Provision of pucca houses by RD Department,  electricity in all Reang houses, piped water supply/community water supply to all Reang households by the DWS Department, better road connectivity in Reang community areas, better medical facilities by the Health Department, advanced system of education for the tribal community by the Education Department, construction of Anganwadi centers, construction of multi-purpose centers, Setting up of the Dhan Vikas Kendras by Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and better telecommunication facilities by the Department of Telecom communication are the interventions. A nationwide awareness/IEC campaign is also planned to create awareness about the mission and its benefits.

The campaign will include saturation camps/health camps for convenient enrollment in interventions such as Aadhaar cards, Ayushman cards, Kisan Credit Cards, and sanitation check-ups, which will be conducted through IEC camps, Noatia added.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs is working with the concerned departments to take necessary measures such as beneficiary saturation camps, outreach programs, etc. The PM-JANMAN Mission provides a great opportunity for the socio-economic development of the Reang community, which will also lead to the overall state development, he said.
