Tripura BJP celebrates by-poll victory: CM leads Thanksgiving and Vijay Rally

Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and supporters of Tripura held a Thanksgiving and Vijay Rally celebrating the victory in by polls of three Assembly constituencies – Town Bordowali (in West Tripura district), Surma (in Dhalai) and Jubarajnagar (North Tripura).

I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the functionaries on behalf of myself and the Party. I am determined to move forward in the coming days with the cooperation of everyone.

 

Thank you to all the people, who have given valuable judgments to make our goal of building the Shrestha Tripura come true”.


Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha led the victory rally in Agartala with hundreds of party karyakartas along with leaders in attendance.

Two other elected members of the party- Malina Debnath (Jubarajnagar) and Swapna Das Paul (Surma) along with Dr. Ashok Sinha, who contested and missed the victory in 6- Agartala seat, also participated in the celebration.
 

Minister for Tribal Affairs Rampada Jamatia, Minister for Information and Cultural Affairs Sushanta Chowdhury, Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly Ratan Chakraborty and Mayor of AMC Dipak Majumder were among the party leaders, who joined the victory rally that traversed through various roads in the city.
 

The Chief Minister congratulated the voters for favouring Bharatiya Janata Party in the by-elections. He also lauded the hard work of the party karyakartas.
 

Dr. Saha also encouraged the party workers to focus on the finals—2023 assembly polls. He alerted the karyakartas saying, “there will be instigations but we have to stay alert so that we don’t fall prey to such provocations.”
