The Chief Minister, who himself is a renowned dental surgeon, was felicitated by the association during the event.

Besides, IDA Tripura unit handed over a cheque of Rs One Lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) during today’s event.

Commending the dental surgeons’ contributions to the state, Dr. Saha urged them to remain aware of the ongoing development initiatives and work towards the betterment of society and the country as a whole.

He emphasized the significant opportunities dental surgeons have to serve society and underscored the importance of utilizing these opportunities to benefit the common people.

While acknowledging that obstacles may arise in their work, he encouraged them to overcome challenges and forge ahead.

Dr. Saha also drew attention to the fact that many dental surgeons, upon completing their courses, choose to work independently rather than wait for government jobs.

He expressed his commitment to supporting them by facilitating access to bank loans and exploring other avenues of assistance.

During his address, the Chief Minister highlighted the achievements of both the central and state governments led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

He praised the coordinated efforts of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and the state and central governments in working towards the welfare of the people.

Dr. Saha noted the remarkable progress made in education, agriculture, healthcare, and various other sectors. He also underscored the advancements in road, rail, air, and internet connectivity in Tripura.

To further propel development, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to optimize the utilization of the state’s natural resources, such as gas, tea, and bamboo.

These resources hold immense potential for driving economic growth and improving the lives of the people of Tripura, he asserted.

Dr. Samir Ranjan Dutta Chowdhury, President of the Indian Dental Association, Tripura State Unit, as well as Dr. Sajal Roy, Secretary, Dr. Sumit Kumar Roy, Joint Secretary, and other members of the association were present in the event.
