Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha lambasted the Communists and Congress during party programmes at Sepahijala and Gomati Districts on Monday (Dec 19).
Picking up the Communists, Dr Saha said, during the communist regime, their party offices were the main centers of arms depot for unleashing violence, cut-money and negotiation business.
He termed the Congress, once again, as the undisciplined party and wondered why some of the youths are supporting this party.
His sharp criticism against the opposition parties came after CPIM and Congress leaders made several claims pertaining to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s State visit on Government programme on December 18 last. Leaders of both parties alleged Modi’s public rally was actually wastage of public money.
“The reaction of the opposition is a clear indication that they became afraid after seeing the mammoth gathering at the Prime Minister’s rally in Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala”, he commented.
Continuing his tirade, Dr Saha claimed, all the statements from CPIM and Congress leaders are nothing but propaganda to tarnish the developmental image of the BJP-led government in the state.
While he termed CPIM party offices during the Left Front regime was a hub of violence, he explained the purposes of BJP Party offices.
“Every office of the BJP is a holy place to party karyakartas. Every party office of the BJP has become seva Kendra as karyakartas get inspiration from the ideals of Rastra Baad and service to mankind”, Dr Saha commented.
He also pointed out, the saffron party believe in three ‘Ks’ - Karyalay, Karyakarta and Karyakram. Dr Saha exuded confidence that BJP Party Office would provide further better services to people and play a proactive role in disseminating party’s ideology among the masses.
After party events at Sepahijala and Gomati Districts, Dr Saha also inaugurated a two-day district level science fair and exhibition at Kakraban Higher Secondary School under Gomati District today.
