Tripura Govt's education initiatives aligned with PM Modi's vision: Dr Manik Saha
Chief Minister of Tripura Prof. Dr. Manik Saha reaffirmed the government's dedication to enhancing school infrastructure during a public address at Kalacherra HS School ground in North Tripura on Thursday.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for a new school building in Kalacherra and inaugurated the state-of-the-art facility at Joynagar HS (+2 Stage) School in Nadiapur, North Tripura district today.
Dr. Saha emphasized that the government's commitment to education aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of education as a cornerstone of a stronger nation.
"The transformation in the education system that came through our continuous efforts is now visible everywhere in the state," said Dr. Saha as he addressed the gathering, highlighting the tangible impact of their endeavors.
Underlining the government's dedication to expanding the reach of quality education, Dr. Saha stated, "The government has given priority to the expansion of quality education in the state. That's why school infrastructural development includes logistics support and the construction of new concrete buildings for schools. Students are the future of the country, and teachers should take the leading role in developing them properly."
To further enhance the quality of education, the Chief Minister revealed that the state has introduced the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) syllabus.
"Moreover, initiatives like Super-30, Chief Minister Merit Award, Vocational Education, and Smart Class are playing a significant role in the promotion of quality education. Students should love the country along with their education," he added, underscoring the importance of a well-rounded education.
Dr. Saha also acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership since 2014, noting how it has been instrumental in propelling the country towards rapid development.
The foundation-laying ceremony was attended by a distinguished gathering, including North Tripura Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Bhabatosh Das, MLA Binaybhushan Das, MLA Jadbalal Nath, District Magistrate Nagesh Kumar B, Superintendent of Police Kanta Jahangir, and other prominent figures.
