Tripura: Jampui eve excels in studies, awarded PhD
Esther Rengsi, daughter of Jothanliana Rengsi of Vanghmun has brought cheers to inhabitants of Jampui Hills under North Tripura District.
She has excelled in studies and has been awarded Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in History subject under Tripura University.
The title of her thesis is "The Lushais of Tripura: A Socio-Cultural Study (1910-2010)". Notably, Lushai is one of the around 19 communities live in Tripura.
The Mizo community of the state, as well as her other larger circle of close acquaintances, was quick to congratulate her as well as in taking their congratulatory messages to social media for this great achievement by Dr Rengsi.
Currently, Dr Rengsi is working as Assistant Professor at Government Degree College in Langtharai Valley.
