Tripura News: Kailashahar eve shines bright in AIIMS
Tripura born Dr Nazeen Nahar Begum completed her DM (Doctorate of Medicine) degree from AIIMS with flying colours. She hails from Kailashahar in Unakoti district of Tripura. Her achievement and success have brought cheers for the local people of Kailashahar.
Even as life is badly hit by Covid restrictions and gloom, all around, is obvious, Kailashahar is cherishing the success of its daughter of the soil – Dr Nazneen Nahar Begum.
A brilliant student throughout her career, Dr Nazneen Nahar Begum has got DM (Doctorate of Medicine) degree from AIIMS Delhi. Not just the degree, she scored the highest marks.
Her journey into medical world tasted success at MBBS level. She passed her MBBS degree with a gold medal from Agartala Government Medical College, Tripura in 2013. After completion of MBBS degree she went to Kolkata for higher study.
Later, Dr Nahar Begum obtained her MD degree from the School of Tropical Medicine, Calcutta Medical College.
Dr Nahar Begum’s father, Abdul Quddus, is a retired staff of Rural Development, Government of Tripura. Her mother is presently working in PWD, the Government of Tripura. Her parents are residing at Kunjaban in Agartala at present.
MLA of Kailashahar Mabaswar Ali expressed happiness at her success and congratulated her.
Ali said, “People of Kailshahar are feeling proud for her. We are all cherishing the success of Dr Nazneen Nahar Begum. She, always worked hard, she deserved it and she has got it”.
The MLA also congratulated and thanked the parents of Dr Nazneen Nahar Begum.
