Tripura News: Know dist-wise Covid War Room ph nos; Corona claims 13 more
In an attempt to bolster battle against Covid pandemic and monitor the Covid situation in a district, Tripura opened district level Covid War Rooms in every district. The ICA department published phone numbers of each of the Covid War Room.Following are the telephone numbers of the Districtwise Covid War Rooms.

Recoveries outnumber fresh Covid cases in Tripura even as 13 people succumbed to the disease during the last 24 hours. According to media bulletin, as many as 878 patients recovered whereas fresh 783 cases were detected. The positivity rate stands at 6.97 percent and fatality rate is 1.01 per cent. A total of 11,237 samples were tested across the State during the last 24 hours.
Out of the fresh 783 cases, West District recorded the highest number of positive cases – 378. South District registered 110 new Covid positive cases while Unakoti and Gomati recorded 73 and 62 fresh cases. Besides, North district, Dhalai, Sepahijala and Khowai recorded 50, 44, 38 and 28 cases respectively.
While cumulative recovery rate is 86.14 per cent, cumulative death toll is threatening to breach 500-mark and stands at 495 on Friday.
The State continues to receive Oxygen cylinders and other such materials ensuring better treatment facilities in the State. An Indian Air Force flight ferried a consignment of 30 oxygen cylinders, 350 testing kits and 10 oxygen concentrators from Jorhat on Friday.
As the State is reeling under Covid 2.0, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Dey while addressing people of Tripura on Thursday assured that the Government had made elaborate arrangements to tackle the Covid situation. He appealed to people to strictly adhere to Covid protocols and Corona Curfew for curbing the transmission of the disease. He also urged people to cooperate with the administration in dealing with the deadly virus.
