Tripura News: Two youths of State crack Civil Service Exam 2020, CM congrats

Two youths of Tripura excelled in UPSC conducted Civil Services Examination, 2020. Dhiman Chakma and Sumit Paul cleared the examination which was held in January 2021 and Personality Test conducted in August-September 2021. Dhiman Chakma ranked 482 while Sumit Paul bagged 530th rank in the UPSC conducted Civil Services Examination, 2020. Sumit Paul hails from Khowai.

 

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb congratulated both the successful candidates.

 

In separate tweets, Deb wrote, “Congratulations to Dhiman Chakma on securing 482 rank in the UPSC, Civil services examination,2020. You made #Tripura proud today. Best wishes to you for your endeavours.

 

Congratulations to youngster from our state Sumit Paul for securing 530 rank in UPSC, Civil service examination, 2020. All the very best & make our state proud.”

 

MP of East Tripura constituency, Rebati Tripura also hailed the two youths for scripting success in the Civil Service Examination 2020.

 

He tweeted, “Proud moment for entire #Tripura . My heartiest congratulations to #DhimanChakma for cracking #UPSC with Overall India Rank of #482.

 

My heartiest congratulations to #Shri_Sumit_Paul from #khowai , #Tripura for securing 530 rank in UPSC, Civil service examination,2020. All the very best & you make our state really proud”.

 

According to a PIB press release, a total number of 761candidates have been recommended for appointment out of which number of general candidates is 263, number of  Economically Weaker Section is 86. Besides, 229 from OBC, 122 from SC and 61 from the ST communities have been recommended.

 

These candidates have been recommended for appointment in Indian Administrative Service; Indian Foreign Service; Indian Police Service; and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.
