A tenth-grade student and budding scientist from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Viveknagar, Tripura, Abhinaba Banik, has added yet another feather to his cap as he was granted a special visit to the President's House in Delhi.
The honor comes as a recognition of his extraordinary achievements as a youth icon and student-scientist in his home state.
The visit, timed just before India's 75th Republic Day celebrations, marks a momentous occasion for the young achiever and his accompanying group of youth icons.
Abhinaba, already celebrated for his leadership and creativity, led the group on a guided exploration of some of the most iconic and secured sections of the President's House, including the Darbar Hall and Ashoka Hall, on January 9 afternoon.
The visit was meticulously organized to offer the young visitors a glimpse into the grandeur and historical significance of these iconic spaces.
Notably, Abhinaba has a unique connection to the President's House. In 2020, he participated in a prestigious national-level painting competition organized by the President's House Museum. The competition, themed around the rich heritage and architecture of the President's House, saw Abhinaba emerging as a standout artist.
His artwork, which vividly captures the essence of the historic venue, earned him the distinction of being the only artist from Tripura to have his work digitally displayed at the museum.
This rare opportunity to visit not only the heritage museum but also the restricted sections of the President's House served as the highlight of his trip. The group received a warm welcome from officials, who facilitated their tour and shared in-depth insights into the architectural marvels and historical narratives surrounding the venue.
The visit was both an educational experience and an acknowledgment of the exceptional talent and potential of young achievers like Abhinaba.
Speaking about the experience, Abhinaba expressed his gratitude, saying, "It is a privilege to walk through the halls that have witnessed the evolution of our nation. This visit inspires me to contribute even more to society through my passions and endeavors."
As India gears up to celebrate its 75th Republic Day, Abhinaba's story serves as a beacon of inspiration for young minds across the nation. His journey from a small town in Tripura to the President's House symbolizes the power of hardwork talent and creativity, along with the unwavering support of his mentors and community.
