Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hold a virtual interaction with thousands of beneficiaries across the country on Saturday, as part of the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) program.
Central ministers, MPs, MLAs, and local representatives will attend the Prime Minister's event at the state level, adding further significance to the initiative.
The Prime Minister's interaction with the beneficiaries is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm. The interaction will also be broadcast live in Tripura through video conferencing at designated locations.
The event will be live-streamed at two places in West Tripura - West Nowagaon under Old Agartala Block and Suryamaninagar gram Panchayat under Dukli Block.
Besides, viewers in South Tripura can witness the interaction live at Gardang and Kanchan Nagar.
In Gomati district of Tripura, a special event will be organized at Shalgara Higher Secondary School, marking the occasion. Union Minister of State for Justice and Empowerment, Pratima Bhoumik, will grace the occasion and inaugurate the VBSY program in the district.
Across the country, over 2,000 VBSY vans, along with thousands of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) and Common Service Centers (CSCs) will join the program on Saturday.
The Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra aims to ensure that the benefits of various central schemes reach all beneficiaries within a specified timeframe, achieving 100% saturation for the government's flagship programs.
The VBSY is already initiated in Tripura and Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and other leaders are taking part in it as well as highlighting the objectives of the program.
This interactive session promises to be a platform for direct engagement between the government and the beneficiaries, sources said.
